OBESITY AND YOGA TECHNIQUES

The important fact that has been found in a survey tells that even problems which are considered to be incurable can be cured with the help of yoga. Yoga is one of the effective methods to be practiced to get rid of many problems as it involves humans dealing with nature to control their urge. Hence yoga has an important role to play in the treatment of Obesity. Yoga techniques mainly affect body, internal organs, brain, mind and other factors concerning body and mind which makes the function of whole organs. There are various yoga techniques available that can be practiced effectively to reduce the weight and achieve normal healthy condition of body and mind. Generally the techniques involved in yoga is said to be asana. Asana mainly indicates the different styles and position that has to be followed in case of doing yoga. Yoga positions or postures are especially useful to reduce the fats in various parts, so that our fat content gets reduced and thus result in reduce body weight. The techniques that are practiced to reduce fats are forward bending, twisting and backward bending. These asana help reduce the fats near abdomen, hips and other areas. Also the practice of asana improves functioning of internal organs, strengthening heart, lungs, kidneys, excretory and reproductive organs. Regular practice builds strength in muscles and also self confidence among people so that they can face any challenged with clear mind and body strength.
