While idly thumbing through my files the other day, I came across a forgotten favorite: Salad Fingers. This Flash series by David Firth was all over the internet [capitalization rejected] a couple of years ago, but it recently came to my attention that not everyone has seen it.
Salad Fingers takes place in, um, well I’m not sure where it takes place or if it even takes place at all. There’s this guy, see, and, OK, I’m not sure if he’s a guy, but there’s this character named Salad Fingers who…
Maybe you should just watch episode 2 to get an idea of what it is. I’ll let you in on a secret, though. Marc is based on Salad Fingers. [Don't tell him.]
Incidentally, that’s the only version of “Somewhere over the Rainbow” that I like.

Holy hole in a donut that brings me back to middle school. Which is about…7 years ago. Thanks Lee, now I’m starting to feel something akin to nostalgia.

Haha! Just wait. I remember the first time I heard the cheesy dance cover of a song that I had liked the first time around. I think that was the first time I really felt old.
Now almost everything is a remake from my youth (BSG, Bionic Woman, Transformers, etc.), and I feel ready for the retirement home.

Wow, a serial killer cartoon show, can’t say how genius it is! Although, I feel like it has some sort of connection to those demented stick-figure cartoons from a couple years back. I can’t remember the names of them for the life of me, but I do remember the awesome lines:
“My spoon is too big!”
“My anus is bleeding!”
Something to do with rejected TLC sketches I ponder…
