The real problem with Primeval is that there’s not enough historical accuracy.

Now that’s what I’m talking about!

Dave: Just been watching a new 5 part zombie series that’s on over here in the UK at the moment. Its called Dead Set. [...]
Lee: Yup. I'm quite old. Can't speak for Marc, though. :D
Megh: Was bored and clicking around, and ended up on your MySpaces. Apparently, you are older than i thought you were. Cheers to looking good for [...]
Lee: Why am I seeing Fox News ads on this post about Salad Fingers? :D AdSense is weird.
Eddus: I love the new look! Keep up the good work guys!
LL: Lookin' good!
Lee: Hey, DrBrad! It's from a video from Margaret Cho's blog. It's been a bit of a theme here ever since our "Compound-Raiding Episode" last spring. [...]
DrBrad: Just wondering- does the "It's Not a Compound" line refer to the proper stress pattern on Angry Puppy or am I missing something much more [...]

You don’t even know the half of it. Keep watching, seriously.

Oh, boy! Is there a particular season or episode that I should wait for, or do you mean in general?

When the anomalies open underwater, that episode really made me want to throw my computer at someone. But the way they wrap up the first series completely takes the WTF cake.

Oh, I see the water one was episode three, and you got that far. But seriously, the fact that the water pressure just randomly adjusted itself to their convenience bugged the hell out of me, and I’m not all that science-y!

That’s where Marc stopped watching altogether!
I’m up to the puffin, err, dodo episode, but there’s one on tomorrow and one on the DVR.
The one with the dodos was OK. I liked that it was a new kind of threat at least, and not just another big animal.
I’ve gotten a tiny bit of flack from some of the commenters on AfterElton for this, but I don’t care if something is completely unrealistic as long as it’s entertaining. It all depends on the context, though. If something takes itself very seriously, but fails completely on the science front, then, yeah, of course I’m gonna make fun of it.
