May 5th, 2008Khor Borg: or WTF?
I am being driven insane by a little Flash video that I found online somewhere last year. It’s set to what I think is a Thai pop song and features an 8-bit lady out on the town. I especially like when she takes down the roomful of (I think) bouncer-thugs in what looks like a mini-game in the middle of the clip. But why did they want her out of the club? Is she jealous of the scantily-clad woman at the next bar or is she just showing off her dance moves to those guys at the table? And is that supposed to be her husband or her father in the last scene?
My biggest problem is that the hook near the words “Khor Borg” won’t get out of my head. I found myself humming the thing again this morning when the answer hit me: crowdsourcing!
Here’s a poor-quality version on YouTube. Perhaps one of you knows what’s going on in this thing? If you’re as clueless as me, I’ll accept your best interpretation.

This has really made my day. But I got it stuck in my head as well =/
Thanks Lee!
My best interpretation? Um… A lady gets mad at a mob boss because he isn’t sending her any clients (she’s a prostitute). He sicks his men on her and she slaps them to death. She goes to a dance club and seduces the men (and everyone else) into dancing with her with her crazy ass spin move that she learned when she was a ballerina in Nazi Germany and teaches them the nazi salute (and the less famous double nazi salute). The dancing reminds her of happier times which cheers her up and she goes home to her husband as happy as she can be. The End.

OK - you win. That’s much better than what I was imagining, and, like every incarnation of Star Trek except DS9, you managed to work Nazis into the story somehow. ;) But what’s a Khor Borg? And is resistance futile?
