Benicio del Toro Is The Wolf Man
EW.com has posted a couple of pictures of Benicio del Toro as the Wolf Man from the upcoming re-make of the Lon Chaney classic. I’ve posted one below, alongside a photo of del Toro out of makeup.
I don’t know. He looks about the same as he always does to me. (I kid, I kid.)
While we’re on this topic:
I recently set up a Netflix queue with every werewolf movie I could find so that I can watch and rank them for you before The Wolf Man opens.
As for the best, I already have a few ideas, but I’ll need to re-watch some of the classics (The Howling, Wolfen, An American Werewolf in London). As you know, movies that seemed really great when you were a teenager don’t always hold up. I’m almost afraid to see The Company of Wolves again in case it disappoints. It really creeped me out when I first saw it, but I was about 9 or 10, and I don’t trust the young Lee.
I am fairly certain that I won’t find anything worse than 1994’s yawnfest Wolf, with Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer. Any suggestions to prove me wrong?
