We want to add one note to the vlog. We mention Neil Gaiman’s blog where he says that the characters in Season 1 are “too stupid to live”. We put up the actual quote, but took it to mean that he hated the show.
He clarifies in a comment to the post on NewNowNext that what he meant was that they were literally too stupid to live and that they only survived because they were needed in the subsequent episodes. He also mentions that they seem brighter in Season 2.
