Justice League Movie on Hold

The WGA strike has Ellen playing Guitar Hero on air, me waiting for Heroes and, now, Justice League fans waiting indefinitely.

The upcoming live action Justice League film has been put on the shelf pending a re-write.  Expected roles include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman, but don’t expect Christian Bale or Brandon Routh.  There have been no definite casting announcements yet, but director George Miller has made it clear that he wants to cast actors who can grow into the roles.

I’m not a huge Justice League fan, but wouldn’t it be a little weird to have simultaneous major motion pictures out with different actors in leading roles like Superman or Batman?
